  The Chase Bays Power Steering Kit for BMW E46 M3 was the most challenging system we've developed for. BMW M made MANY mistakes and revisions. There are recalls and changes in BMW's system. A simple one kit fits all wasn't so simple. The S54 power steering pumps puts out a substantial amount of output pressure compared to other power steering pumps. The rack is not built to regulate this without causing aeration or overheating. Because of this, this kit is ONLY sold with a cooler. As well, Chase Bays developed a fitting and hose to decrease the fluid pressure and speed before the fluid hit the rack. This Power Steering Kit is designed to eliminate the common factory power steering leaks, fluid spillover, and overheating issues with improved aesthetics, durability, and stealthy design. It is a full 100% upgraded A.N. Hose and Fitting replacement of the stock reservoir and hoses. From the reservoir to pump to rack (and cooler if upgraded).
