14kt Gold Red Garnet Grape Cluster Brooch / Pin

The 14kt. gold One Leaf and Vine Brooch with Garnet gemstones has a large leaf and a gold runner wire on an 1 1/8" long vine. The grape cluster has 29 4mm. round natural Red Garnet gemstones hand mounted to a 14kt. gold grape stem. That is over 3 1/2 carats total weight of Red Garnet gemstones! Red Garnets are the January Birthstones and they are also very close in color to red burgundy grapes.The Cabernet Leaf has a lot of engraved detail as well as engraved detail on the grape stem.The pin on the back is a hinged pin stem with a joint and catch. Overall actual size of this piece is 1 1/2" tall by 1 1/8" wide.I was inspired in the creation of this jewelry by looking at how a actual cluster of grapes are attached to the grape stems. When I make the setting that holds the gemstones in place I designed it like the actual grape stem.
