The Accelera Phi offers UHP summer performance and affordability in a multitude of sizes to fit any high performance sedan or coupe. The performance-tuned asymmetric tread is optimized to handle both wet and dry conditions while maximizing cornering grip and handling stability. Large continuous tread shoulder blocks provide maximum dry grip and stability under cornering loads. A combination of continuous and semi-continuous intermediate ribs work together to provide stability at highway speeds under varying conditions. Continuous ribs and shoulder block elements with variable-pitch groove spacing help to reduce tread noise for a quiet ride. Quadruple circumferential tread grooves offer maximum water dispersion for excellent wet traction with minimal hydroplaning. A silica-enhanced tread compound improves both wet traction and rolling resistance (resulting in reduced fuel consumption). All sizes of the Phi come with a built-in rim guard to help protect expensive wheels from curb damage.
