Prickly Pear Bookmark/Ornament

An UN-prickly pear! A fun ode to my childhood in the Sonoran Desert (Phoenix, AZ), where I enjoyed a sweet treat of prickly pear fruit occasionally on family hikes. Laser cut from my drawing in a golden colored anodized aluminum for resistance to tarnishing & fingerprints, then finished by hand in 2 colors of waterproof ink and ochre-colored silk ribbon  Hang on the wall as an ornament when not in use as a bookmark for your favorite cookbook or novel, and you'll never lose another bookmark again! Or if not used as a bookmark at all, twist the sections to form a little sculptural ornament resembling a real prickly pear cactus! Appx 2 x 2.75" with a 4" long ribbon loop (~8" circumference)
