The follower plate is pulled towards the bottom of the drum by the vacuum created by the pump operations and provides the following advantages. Keeps the grease clean and free of impurities. Compresses the grease which eliminates the formation of air pockets and possibly cavitation of the pump. Constructed of heavy duty materials with a double "O" ring seal on the I.D. to prevent air entrainment For use with P/N 11395, 80:1 high volume, high pressure grease pumps and 420 lb. drums with I.D. between 21.3" and 22.8".
