"Sundog Days" - Bison Sunrise Art Print

"Sundog Days" This scene overall means a lot more to me than what's just on the surface. It has so many levels that I can connect with and personally, it's almost as if it brings two chapters of my life together into one: the Great Plains where I once lived and the mountains where I live now and what's special to me are the similarities and aspects that each of these regions share together. In a sense, it captures everything that I've personally held close and near to my heart for the better half of my adult life. I just love the dead of winter and the stillness that comes with it. It can be such a peaceful time to get out into the wild. For me it just provides an intimacy with nature that is on a completely different level. Then with the addition of the bison, an extraordinary example of how amazing mother nature is, this piece really brings it all together for me.
