ORIGINAL - A Moment on Memory Lane 30x40

Small country towns and lanes often carry the charm of generations past. For this painting called "A Moment on Memory Lane," I re-created a nostalgic street from the mid 20th century, and imagined the days when time moved a little slower, children played outside, pets wandered freely, and neighbors were counted among many good friends. I imagine classic cars cruising down the lane with autumn leaves tumbling behind and parents sending children out to gather the leaves from the lawn. I hope this scene reminds us of some of the virtues of simpler times.
