Bartolo Mascarello Barolo 2019

Maria Teresa has followed her father’s edicts to the letter, maintaining Mascarello’s place as the pinnacle of traditional Barolo production.  Nebbiolo from four sites, native-fermented “cappelo sommerso” and aged in old botti (some of which are ancient chestnut).  The result is a benchmark wine for the region year to year, and indeed, from generation to generation.
