Based on the chopsticks used for serving food, which were reportedly only allowed to be used by hanaita (chief cooks) in Kyoto since the end of the Edo period (1603-1868), these chopsticks are a masterpiece made in a master bamboo craftsman's workshop in Kyoto. The chopsticks are very delicate all the way to the tip. The handles are tenkarigami (shaving) processed so that they can be used as a spatula or to hold soft objects. The chopstick tips are so delicate that they are useful for serving bento boxes. Material: Natural bamboo
