This is a duck-shaped fire extinguisher made by Nosaku (as many of you may know) and Takazawa Candle Shop in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, the town of cast metal. This brass fire extinguisher is used to extinguish a fire in the middle or to adjust the length of the wick when the fire becomes too large. It is a convenient item for quickly extinguishing a candle that does not go out easily even if you fan it with the palm of your hand.
