This rustic, twig-like charm is created from pure silver. The rune shape is called Algiz. This is a rune of protection and strength. The runes are said to be used by ancient Germanic tribes, including Vikings. This rune holds a great deal of personal magic for me. The shape and raw lines remind me of tree branches. The rune has a bail loop at the top for stringing. The hole is large enough to accommodate a 2mm or slightly larger cord.
