Mount Carrigain is part of the White Mountains, the most rugged mountain range in New England. The design of this shawl was inspired by the concept of layering - of mountains fading into the background, of getting lost in the trees, and snow falling through the branches. In an effort to both reflect the efforts that go into designing knitwear and increasing accessibility to patterns for all audiences, I am offering a full price tier and a discounted tier for those who need more accessible pricing.  YARN C1: Toil & Trouble Sonnet Sport in "Smoke Signals," 2 skeinsC2: Toil & Trouble Sonnet Sport in "Seaglass," 1 skeinSKILLS:Garter tab cast onKnitting, purlingSlipping stitchesMirrored increases GAUGE:22 stitches x 34 rows = 4" in stockinette before blocking SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZE:US5 32" circular or longer
