A high quality printed copy of The Purlbreak Shawl pattern by WestKnits. This pattern includes a Ravelry download code. Purlbreak is a garter stitch version of the popular Daybreak shawl pattern released in 2009. Purlbreak was modified to have a stretchier wingspan edge while maintaining the classic Daybreak shape and geometric details. The entire fabric is knit top-down in garter stitch with slip stitch details. Choose a main color and three contrast colors that fade from light to dark to knit this graphic semi-circular shawl. Gauge: 23 sts = 4” / 10cm in garter stitch before blocking. (Gauge is not crucial, but it will affect the finished size.) Finished Measurements: One Size; 88” / 224cm wingspan, 25” / 64cm from CO to BO edge. Measurements taken after blocking.
