A Cistus introduction and a vigorous plant, growing to 15-18" tall x about 3 ft wide, with shaggy white to straw colored spines completely obscuring the pads. In mid to late spring saturated yellow flowers appear, each aging tangerine in time, giving a bi-colored effect. Seems to flower best when allowed to grow as it pleases, so be lenient.
