These works are very limited due to the time they take to create. I sculpt each image and delicately carve the moth and moons. After the first bisque firing, I paint the sky, moth, and clouds by hand similar to how you would paint with a brush on canvas, giving each piece a one of a kind watercolor-esque feel. I then fire for a second time for the glossy glaze colors. Before the third firing I paint on the gold luster with a small detail brush to achieve the shiny gold finish. The 22k gold luster is food safe but should not be microwaved. I also recommend hand washing because hot
