The big cedar trees in front of our house have slowly, steadily become one of the ways I keep track of the year. In the late winter, they host and feed flocks of migrating mountain bluebirds. Mid-spring, they shift from rust colored back to green. In early summer, new tips appear on the ends of the branches. As summer peaks, berries give the trees a hazy cast when viewed from kitchen window. The middle of fall sees the shift back to rust, and rest. And then, in late fall or early winter, they go back to being the snowy sentinels that greeted us, first, when we came to call this place home. They know this land far better than I - what has come, what is coming. I look to them more and more to keep me grounded and flowing with the seasons. •••••••• Details •••••••• This bracelet was crafted using eight Sonoran Gold turquoise stones. When clasped, it measures 6 and 7/8 inches around. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
