Breed Characteristics Country of Origin: Scotland – A historic landrace breed from the rugged Shetland Isles. Size: Hens ~2-3 lbs, Roosters ~3.5-4.5 lbs – A compact but robust breed. Egg Production: 150-200 medium-sized eggs per year, in shades of pale tinted, blue, or green. Pers
