Layer Cake Cabernet Sauvignon

This 2012 Layer Cake Cabernet definitely shows its Paso side; prominent nose of concentrated black fruit, smoked meat and dark chocolate. Rich and layered in the mouth, it is full of blackberries, Bing cherries and a silky, elegant structure. The finish shows the Alexander Valley roots with lingering cocoa-dusted cherries and thoughts of a cool evening with meat grilling over a fire.2018
