The gorgeous, fragrant, light pink flowers of this Oklahoma Hedgehog Cactus are atop white-spined cylinders with red-spined new growth. This is a very ornamental subspecies that is VERY hardy. 6-8 inches high with cylinders 3 inches wide. Clumps grow up to a foot across. The showy flowers occur in May and June in abundant bouquets. Easily hardy to zone 4 (30 degrees below zero). Beefy plants are sold in 2.5" pots.
