A true ground-covering type with glossy, nearly spineless flattened pads and abundant yellow (fading to apricot) flowers in June. Scarlet centers make the flowers glow like flames. 4" high by 36" wide! Zone 4. I acquired it from Mary Ann Heacock. This plant gets more notice than almost any other in my garden. Now sold in 2.5" pot.
