About the Artist: Aaron Barton has been drawing pictures most of his life. As a child it was pencil drawings of trucks and spaceships, as a teen it was dragons and wizards. Unfortunately, he stopped for several years while deciding "what he was going to be when he grew up." Eventually a close friend convinced him to start again. And when he did, he picked up a pen and started drawing people. Over the past 25 years his style has changed a bit, but humanity remains his inspiration. Whether the final piece is an expression of joy or sadness, the process of putting black dots on a white page is where he finds his peace. Aaron is a winner of Common Deer's 2020 call to artists for the "This is Vermont" print series, an anual art competion held by CD to celebrate Vermont based artists and our community.  Made in South Burlington, Vermont Thank you for supporting American made. Goods Made Here.
