Mushroom Maitake [1/3lb], Super Mushroom Bros

Per 1/3lb Aka hen of the woods aka the dancing mushroom, Maitake shrooms could convert the biggest haters. To breakdown, simply pull off the fronds and gently wipe off any debris. This fungus has a delicate, feathery texture lending well to a variety of cooking methods. Think roasting, stir fries, grilling, sautés. The white base is what the Maitake grows out of and tends to generally be a little tough eat. You can simply cut it off and throw in the freezer to use for homemade mushroom stock.
