The renowned engineers at Jaeger-LeCoultre rose to the occasion by creating the company's famed Memovox alarm wristwatch in 1951. This special wristwatch featured a fully mechanical alarm system that its owner could use to better organize and govern his most precious possession - his time. To pull off this technological marvel, Jaeger-LeCoultre had to equip these watches with a second power winding spring, inner gearing, and even an additional stem and crown, making nearly an entire second movement that worked seamlessly in conjunction with the normal timing portion.
