Description When we pronounce the word “Celt”, we usually travel immediately to regions such as Ireland, Scotland, or French Brittany. Even if partly true, those regions only keep the testimony of the Late Celts, those who lived during the Middle Ages.This conversation has been designed for those interested to know more and understand the earliest origins of these European people, named by the Ancient Greeks, the Keltoi (Κελτοί). In order to do so, we will mainly discuss archaeologists' discoveries since the late 19th century, how they now analyze these artifacts, and how they reconstruct the past life, society, economy, and religions of these people. Among the incredible discoveries done these past decades, we will cover among others the cart tombs of Hochdorf (Germany) and Vix (France), dated back from the Hallstatt period or 1st Iron Age (c. 6th cent.
