We sell these pots as "Seconds".  Seconds are discounted from about $40 - $100 to reflect the surface imperfections.  These seconds are gorgeous with some rough spots on the inside. Seconds perform as well as "firsts" in cooking environments. We do not sell imperfect pots that can no longer be used as a cooking pot.  Not for use on stovetop. Use in the oven, under the broiler, on the grill.
