The clay-limestone soils in Bourgeuil (pron. something like "Bore-Guy") can produce the prettiest, most-elegant examples of cabernet franc in the Loire Valley, and this is a perfect example. Ripe with red berry fruit and a touch of dried herbal spice and light tannins. A perfect bistro red.
