A Study in Sauvignon Blanc
with Tim FarrellWednesday 8/20 6:30pm We are closing out our Summer break series with an in-depth look at on one of the wine world's most-popular, best-loved, most-hated and most-misunderstood grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc. Savvy B's fans cherish its zippy, fresh, mouth-watering style, while its detractors claim that all Sauvignon Blanc tastes the same. CoolVines Wine Director Tim Farrell will present that case that this grape is capable of an impressive variety of flavors and texture, and can reveal terroir in a beautiful way. We will taste wines from the Loire Valley and Bordeaux in France, along with New Zealand, California, Italy and much more! Terms & Regulations To attend this event you must purchase a ticket in advance. The $30 price includes $10 for the seminar fee and $20 toward the purchase of wine or other products from CoolVines, which are consumed at the event. Attendees can choose a “seminar-only” ticket for $10 if they do not wish to participate in the tasting.
