Description Escudo Rojo Sauvignon Blanc expresses the terroir of the Casablanca Valley. Within the valley, renowned for its white wines, Baron Philippe de Rothschild has selected the best parcels in order to create a stylish, mineral and balanced wine. Terroir This wine comes from the Valle de Casablanca, situated near the Pacific Coast 80 km north west of Santiago. The ocean influence is very strong, helping to regulate the temperature. It is ideal country for white wine grape varieties, especially Sauvignon Blanc. Aging To keep all the wine's freshness and refinement, it is matured in vats for 6 to 8 months before bottling. 100% stainless steel vats with regular stirring of the lees.
