I am not sure where the idea came from for this shawl, but I really like the effect it offers. And how many variations in yarn, gauge and size that can be applied to it! Worked here in 3 colors of Malvinas with contrast chevron and edgings in Ito, this shawl was fun to knit, comfortable to wear and makes me happy to look at!  DESIGN: Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton - CTH Design FINISHED MEASUREMENTSWIDTH: ca 9”/ 23 cmLENGTH: ca 80” / 202 cm (measuring to both long ends)YARN AMOUNTS  (1) 200g ball of Noro Ito in #32 (Kamisu) (437 yds each)  ca 25g each of Noro Malvinas in #14 (harvest), #17 (scarlet) and #18 (mulberry)  (328 yds in one ball) NEEDLES  US 9 / 5.5 mm or to obtain gauge below crochet hook no.
