This is a remarkably well preserved juvenile Allosaurus vertebra fossil. Allosaurus was a genus of large carnivorous theropod which has been classified into multiple species, the most well known of which is Allosaurus fragilis, which averaged an estimated 28-32 feet (8.5-9.7 meters) in length but reaching upwards of 39 feet (12 meters) for some individuals.   Approx.
