The Perfect Towels

This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave The Perfect Towels that were designed by Tracy Kaestner for Handwoven, Nov/Dec 2022, pages 68–72. The “perfect” towels in this project combine turned Atwater-Bronson with cotton.  The original towels that are woven by Tracy Kaestner were woven in cottolin, but we are offering this kit in 100% cotton. Weave structure: Turned Atwater-Bronson Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton This kit includes Aurora Earth 8/2 cotton yarns in place of the original cottolin specified in the pattern.Equipment needed: 8-shaft loom with 23” weaving width; 10-dent reed; 1 shuttle; 4 bobbinsFinished size: three hemmed towel 18 1/2" x 24" Instructions needed: Handwoven November/December 2022  This kit includes all yarns needed to weave these towels.  The pattern can be found in the Handwoven magazine noted above.  You will need to purchase this magazine if you don't already own a copy.
