This screw is located in the lower tang between the front and rear triggers of a CPA or Stevens 44 1/2 action and adjusts the amount of creep in the front trigger. Most actions use a 4-40 x 3/16" hex set screw, but some early actions use a 3-56 screw with a small, slotted head.
