It works with Disney's Galaxy's Edge Droids that you build at Droid Depot.  This has an enclosed case with battery inside (350mAh). The back has a magnetic side that allows you to stick it on metal.  The Droid Toolbox has a few different features. The first is the SCAN mode where the toolbox will give you a list of all available droids in the area. (You can connect with a droid only when the remote control is turned off.)
