It's the cumulus type that are so impressive, and they can alter the appearance of a landscape in countless ways. This print, titled Thunderclouds, depicts the moment the distant mountain goes into deep shadow as rain begins to fall, while the foreground is covered with direct light that bakes the rabbitbrush and sage. Printed on 100% cotton Stonehenge paper (made in America by Legion Paper and prized by printmakers for its permanent qualities), Thunderclouds is made from seven hand-carved blocks, each designed, carved and printed by Craig.
