Artist StatementInspired by minimalist design philosophy, this cover conveys the savage energy that Dracula innately possesses through the use of fully saturated colors, highlighted by the piercing of innocence of the white circle by the red fang, which also doubles as the stake so crucial to Draculas destruction. The moon reveals itself out of the night sky as the Victorian border hints at the time period in which Dracula roamed the earth. The color choices represent the nature of his existence: passion, darkness & secrecy, further supported by the typeface of his iconic name, and the resemblance of a drop of blood that so defines him. — Hunter Armstrong
