Artist StatementOne of the important problems society is facing today is factory farming. The competition to provide less expensive meat, eggs and dairy products has led the factory-farming industry to treat animals as objects and commodities. Over time the small traditional farms as they were for centuries evolved into factory farms – large warehouses where animals are confined in crowded cages and are subjected to torturing.
