The Story // Hand-dyed and handwoven by the Naga people in the village of Kale (Kalay) in the Sagaing Region of Myanmar. The Nagas are a multi-ethnic minority group that have a rich tradition of textile weaving. They use textiles with different patterns to show social status, tribal association and wealth. Naga throws are weaved on hand looms, using the backstrap method.
