Learn to tie flies which are applicable to local fisheries such as the Woolly Bugger, Hares’ Ear Nymph, Elk Hair Caddis, Pheasant Tail Nymph and many others. We will provide students with a fundamental understanding of how flies are tied and proportioned, the materials and tools needed, and how to use them properly. The class consists of two Sunday (9am-11am) sessions at the shop, both 2 hours in length. All of the necessary tools and materials will be provided. The class is structured to provide the student with all of the basic know-how needed to tie flies from start to finish. Catching fish on flies that you have tied is extremely rewarding, and truly adds a new dimension to fly fishing. We provide everyone with a vice, tools and all materials. Give us a call to schedule a class date! Cost: $100 per person.
