Of course this old heart-shaped lock would be perfect for locking to a bridge somewhere as a symbol of enduring love, but it's such a sweet one I think better to hold onto it! The key still works to open and close it easily, and once locked, it's locked tight. I am not sure the maker, but I do know for sure it is an old one, 19th c. for sure. 2 1/4" tall x 1 9/16" w wide x 3/8" thick and in very good, aged condition.
