The engine mounts for the 2UZ-FE are easily replaceable and a necessary maintenance item for off-road drivers. Extreme conditions cause premature wear which in the worst case, can lead to a breakage and subsequent damage* from engine deflection. *The 98-02 rear steering rack bolt has punctured multiple upper engine oil pans on the 2UZ-FE as a result of engine deflection upon extremely hard hits (see last photo with JB weld and Duct tape trail fix on Kelli Nicole's 100 Series).
