Abalone Shell Earrings with sterling silver Ear Wire - Various Shapes

These handmade abalone earrings include beautiful pieces of iridescent abalone shell in various shapes attached to a sterling silver ear wire.  The earrings measure approx. 1/2" in length.  These abalone shell earrings are part of our "Handmade with Love" collection at Crystal Joys.  The style variations of the abalone earrings are single coin, single rectangle, single square, and single teardrop. The shell of the abalone is known for being very durable. Nacre is the iridescent material thickly lining the shells of the abalone, and is where the strength of the shell comes from.
