DESIGNER: Alexander Magyarics MATERIAL: Wenge & Acrylic RELEASE DATE: 2023.09.29 EDITION: 40 Copies Made SIZE: 3.1" x 3.1" x 1.36" A while ago we produced several board and stick burr puzzles using acrylic, such as Four Stick Eight and Quads and Rings 2. We decided to make a puzzle in this style in a larger size for better playability. Marshal Marigold by Alexander Magyarics was a great candidate with four identical sticks and two plate pieces a tough but doable level 27.7.10.2 difficulty. Construction of the Wenge burr sticks are reinforced with dowel joinery, with two sturdy 3/8" (9.5mm) acrylic plates between. A bonus challenge upon reassembly is to find the arrangement of pieces that produces a spiral grain pattern. 40 copies are available for this release, each signed and dated. Marshal Marigold ships in the assembled configuration.
