Inspiration:"Other People’s Vacations would not be complete without the most quintessential vacation indicator of all: the view from the airplane window.  It’s what I like to think of the pure essence of this series - the emotional shift you experience when you exit your normal life and go on vacation.  Suddenly one acquires a giddy excitement as a result of a temporary freedom from the draining, monotonous grind of everyday life – converting even the most cynical curmudgeons we know to light-hearted, nature-appreciating, small-overlooked-detail-marveling, museum-going, selfie-taking tourists photographing their food, watching waves crash and recede on the shoreline and gazing at sunsets.  Before someone enters this new but fleeting version of themselves, they could very well have been one to roll their eyes at a photo on social media of the classic view from the airplane window, and yet… in the delightfully uninhibited haze of travel, they cannot resist.
