It's taken her less than 24 hours to figure out how to work it by herself. She still likes me to throw it every now and then (and of course I'm happy to oblige) but she also likes playing with it by herself. I will say, it does start to skip if the ball gets too wet but we bought a box of 100 tennis balls so we have lots to swap out.
