Tillandsia straminea dwarf

Origins: Peru, Ecuador Bloom: Large, colorful, compound inflorescence with pale to deep purple bracts and cream colored flowers with purple edges.  These flowers are highly fragrant Ideal for: Outdoors Light: Strong indirect or partial direct light Water: Spray or dunk once a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours.  Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary   Straminea is often found growing among cacti and in desert like regions.  Straminea likes moisture but does not like high humidity; it likes to get wet and dry out quickly.  A mature specimen can reach almost 2 feet in height and will form a large clump over time
