Spinacia olerecea. Spinach is a classic go-to Spring crop. There are many "Bloomsdales" out there, this one is a mix of Bloomsdale Longstanding from (Ann Arbor Seeds and High Mowing Seeds) and a little Winter Bloomsdale (Wild Garden Seeds). Selection was focused on big savoy leaves and scouring early bolters after a week of 90's in Early June (in Milaca, MN! crazy!) Sow as soon as soil can be worked before hot weather sets in. Can also be sown in the mid-Fall and overwintered for an early Spring crop.
