Poul Henningsen is one of the most influential lighting designers of the 20th century. His innovative three-shade system was designed to eliminate light glare while emitting a soft, beautiful glow. The PH 2/1 Portable Table Lamp uses mouth-blown opal glass to distribute light through Henningsen's celebrated design, which he created in 1925 in collaboration with Louis Poulsen.
