
Blending is a Serious Skill Note Cards
There are yellow roses, orange roses and red roses. There are white roses, pink roses and purple roses. There are striped roses and fringed roses. But I love this rose. I love anything that blends so well that you are not sure where you are on the color wheel, until you have jumped all the way from yellow to pink, with some peach in the middle. I am a painter by training and ambition. The color wheel is sacred to me. Each specific color is its own joy for me. I can stay in the joy of teal for days. Ask my daughter. For an entire year, I had found a teal I loved and wore it ever day on my nails. Drove her nuts. Admit it that is the mother-daughter relationship in a single moment. But, like every painter who has lived, colors are joy and blending is heaven and hell all mixed together. Imagine you have found the perfect color for your rose.
