
Summer Winds to Dance With Note Cards
Also available as museum-quality posters. I love sunflowers. Everything Sunflower. Everything. Every one of Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers. The sunflower named “Moulin Rouge, with it’s gorgeous brown velvet petals.” I can spend hours watching the squirrels, hang suspended from the gargantuan face of the “Russian Mammoth.” But somehow this set of “green thumbs” can’t get them going in our new garden. So, I am totally dependent on our neighbors’ successes with sunflower seeds. Boy are there some great successes around here. If this were not 2020, there would be a sunflower festival, just down the road from my house. Thankfully, the neighbors have nearly made up for that loss. There is the Ranch house that planted 8 foot squared of their front yard exclusively (and compactly) with sunflowers. Or another neighbor who has nearly a ¼ of an acre with sunflowers every few feet.
