Guava^® Annexin Red Kit

The Guava® Annexin Red kit offers a simple, reproducible, and reliable way to monitor early and late apoptosis. The kit includes: Annexin V conjugated to a red fluorescent dye, CF647, to provide maximum sensitivity 7-AAD, a fluorescent DNA intercalator that is membrane impermeant and therefore excluded from live, healthy, and early apoptotic cells, but permeates late-stage apoptotic and dead cells An apoptosis buffer that is optimized for Annexin V staining After staining cells with the Annexin Red kit, three populations of cells can be identified in this assay: Non-apoptotic cells: Annexin V- and 7-AAD- Early apoptotic cells: Annexin V+ and 7-AAD- Late-stage apoptotic or dead cells: Annexin V+ and 7-AAD+ The Annexin Red kit includes all of the reagents necessary for cell preparation and analysis.
